My Document Analysis was focused around the 1861 Census of Nova Scotia. The census reports on the number of citizens in Nova Scotia, and highlights how many identify as Scottish, where they reside, and what religion they may practice. In addition to the Scottish population in Nova Scotia the census depicts a multitude of different religions, as well as a variety of ethnic groups, although a vast majority of which were European.
